⁣A wounded soldier gives Dusty a pouch, tells him to protect it with his life and deliver it to Ford Hood. A bad guy then shows up and demands the pouch, but it's empty.

⁣Gabby tells a tall tale about a Mosquito, and then introduces action scenes from a Buster Crabbe western.

⁣ John Clark, a young drifter comes to the aid of beleaguered U.S. marshal Blyth, who has been shooting it out with a gang of outlaws. Wounded but still alive, Blyth deputizes Clark and assigns him to capture the notorious Kootney Kid gang!

⁣⁣When Lt. "Wild Bill" Traynor, boy of the Marine Corps, arrives at a San Diego Marine Base, he is surprised to discover he has been assigned to duty under his old rival, Captain Benton (Conrad Nagel). While eluding the advances of Rosita (Armida), a Latin dancer, Bill becomes involved with Benton's fiancee, Dorothy Manning (Esther Ralston), whom he quickly wins and Benton accepts the impending marriage.

⁣Rival rodeos are operated by good guy Gabby and bad guy Richard Powers. Dale is trying to choose between them, aided ultimately by Roy and the Sons of the Pioneers (who are radio singers).

⁣John Martin is a government agent working under cover. Leading citizen Morgan calls in gunman Galt who blows Martin's cover.

⁣ Sunset Carson is trying to raise money for a new school and his partner Sam Webster is out to stop him. When Carson plans a benefit prize-fight, Webster plans to make off with the proceeds.
