⁣Ted Warren returns from WW1 to find that everyone thinks he was dead. The culprit is Kent who intercepted his mail, rustled the Warren cattle, took over the Warren ranch, and is now after Ted's girl friend. When Kent's henchmen fail to kill Ted, Kent shoots Ted's father and leaves him for dead. But only wounded, the plan is to have Warren appear as a ghost to get a confession from Kent.

⁣When a bank president is murdered, the townspeople accuse the man's future son-in-law of the crime and a lynching party is formed. Cisco and Pancho must find out who the real killers are before the mob hangs the innocent man.

⁣After he loses his money and horse in a poker game, Yak learns he was cheated. But then he learns that the men that cheated him are wanted and have a price on their heads. This gives him a chance to get his money back and more, so he sets out after them.

Roy gets a tip on the outlaws but it's a trap and Roy and the boys soon find themselves in jail with the townspeople and trappers on the way to Lynch them.

Through it all, Duke is his charming self. Although a bit exasperated at the chaos the redhead brings to the set.

⁣The Pawnee strip is a piece of Federal land that has long been a haven for outlaws. Determined to get the strip open for homesteading, Bill, Calamity, Judge Wiley, and the Reverend, set out to get the petition signatures needed to make it official.

⁣ Bolton's men blow up the wagon carrying the mine payroll and Marshal Crash Corrigan is supposedly killed in the explosion. A man finds his badge and gives it to Bolton. Thinking Crash dead, Bolton gives the badge away and it ends up with the Sheriff. Crash is OK and the Range Busters know Bolton is the head of the gang but that he gets his orders from someone else and that is the man they want.
