⁣ Two brothers are separated when young. One becomes the pony express rider Clint Knox and the other the outlaw Ace Carter. Their next meeting finds Ace way-laying Clint as he delivers the mail.

⁣ Buck Roberts is leading a wagon train of railroad supplies and Jim Corkle and his henchman Loder are out to stop them by using white men dressed as Indians for the attacks.

⁣Two deserters take a Gatling Gun from their cavalry unit to steal gold from an Apache tribe, but the cavalry and the Apache go after them... and the Gun. Watch for John Carradine as The Reverend Harper.

⁣When rustlers Ike Travis and Rand call on Senator Black and offer to protect his cattle at a dollar a head, the veteran rancher curtly refuses and the departing Rand tells him he is making a big mistake. Later, a gang of rustlers raid Black's great herd but are stopped by Tex Saunders and Chili, a couple of roving range riders. The rustlers then threaten Pop Hart and his daughter Laura, who are driving a herd to the Rio Grande Valley markets. Again, Tex and Chili come to the rescue. Further down the trail the rustlers attack again with more success, fatally wound Pop Hart and make off with the herd. Tex tells Laura that he, instead of just being a footloose range rider, is the brother of Sheriff Ed Saunders and both of them have made a vow to exterminate Travis and his gang. Tex later kills one of the rustlers in self defense but is jailed on suspicion of murder. He escapes and goes after the gang while Senator Black obtains the assistance of the Texas Rangers.

⁣Gabby refuses to breed his palomino horse with Roy's. When the palomino and Roy's horse escape, Skoville shoots the palomino by mistake but Roy is blamed and sent to jail.

⁣ Meline is taking money from his own bank to drill an oil well. When he finds Doug Redfern's bandana, he has his gang rob his bank and uses the bandana to frame Doug. When Doug is convicted but immediately paroled, Meline has another plan that he thinks will put him away permanently.

⁣Marshal Bob Marlow arrives in Apache City posing as a dude. The six Tolliver brothers are running wild and when Bob fights with two of them they accidentally shoot each other. Then a third brother goes after him and is accidentally shot when they fight. When Bob's identity is revealed, the other three and the rest of the gang rob the bank and flee. No longer a dude, Bob organizes a posse to go after them.

⁣ Sunset Carson is trying to raise money for a new school and his partner Sam Webster is out to stop him. When Carson plans a benefit prize-fight, Webster plans to make off with the proceeds.

⁣This is the first sound version of the novel "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens, and it also is the only adaptation of the story with an invisible Marley's ghost. Seymour Hicks plays the title role in this British import about the miser who's visited by three ghosts on Christmas Eve. He wakes up on Christmas morning a changed man. A public domain classic.

⁣His Girl Friday is a 1940 American screwball comedy directed by Howard Hawks, starring Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell and featuring Ralph Bellamy and Gene Lockhart. It was released by Columbia Pictures. The plot centers on a newspaper editor named Walter Burns who is about to lose his ace reporter and ex-wife Hildy Johnson, newly engaged to another man. Burns suggests they cover one more story together, getting themselves entangled in the case of murderer Earl Williams as Burns desperately tries to win back his wife. The screenplay was adapted from the 1928 play The Front Page by Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur.
