⁣Joe Dawson, foreman at a ranch in San Saba, asks his old friend Cisco to come and help them catch a gang of cattle rustlers. When the leader of the gang hears of this, he orders two of his henchmen to kill Joe and blame the murder on Cisco. Cisco and Pancho have to keep away from the sheriff at the same as they are searching for the gang and the missing cattle.

⁣After Pat Garrett kills Billy the Kid, Billy's look-alike Roy Rogers arrives and is mistaken for him. Despite being a murderer, Billy was actively against large ranchers, protecting the homesteaders. Now, with Rogers in town, he seeks to continue Billy's fight, but without violence.

⁣While Annie and Lofty pursue an outlaw who killed a sheriff, Tagg tries to coach his schoolteacher on the finer points of romance.

⁣Stoney and the son of the local Indian chief are attacked while escorting a gold shipment meant for the tribe. The nuggets are stolen, the Indian killed and Stoney is arrested for the murder and theft. With his partner in jail, Pat endeavors to learn who is behind the robbery and the previous thefts of tools and supplies meant for the Indians before the tribe returns to the warpath to avenge the death of their kinsman.
