⁣Go for Broke follows the exploits of the most decorated unit in US Army history - the 442nd Regiment - the first all-Nisei (Japanese-American) combat team in WWII. Van Johnson stars as a commanding officer who must overcome his own prejudices as he trains and leads his men through battles on the European Front. Several of the main roles are played by actual Nisei members of the 442nd, lending a beautiful authenticity to the storytelling. Go for Broke represents a landmark in the portrayal of Japanese-Americans in Hollywood films and is a must watch for WWII history and war movie buffs alike.

⁣Ollie has fallen in love with the innkeeper's daughter in Paris. The only problem - she's very much in love with her husband. To forget her he joins the Foreign Legion with Stan. Bad idea.

⁣When a decaying Russian satellite crashes on the island, the Professor uses a key component for a barometer. With that device, he learns that a massive wave is going to swamp the island. In desperation, the castaways lash their huts together into one structure in order to have any chance to ride the disaster out. The wave strikes the island and the hut is swept out to sea. Once there, Gilligan accidents starts a fire trying to cook a meal and nearly burns the floating hut down. Occupied with stopping the fire, the gang fails to notice that the smoke caught the attention of a naval helicopter who summoned a ship to rescue the castaways. In triumph, they return to Hawaii, only to learn that things have changed over the years and they will have trouble fitting in. To further complicate matters, two Russian spies are after that the key component that Gilligan now wears as necklace.

Watch for the Dwight Frye, the extremely versatile actor and originator of many memorable characters in the horror genre most notably Renfield from the original Bela Lugosi classic, Dracula.

⁣Sandy investigates Ricky's wild tale of a medicine show operator who he saw stuff a small boy into a box. The Norths learn that Doc Terwilliger, the show's owner, is a ventriloquist who uses his dummy, Wilbur, to draw in crowds. A trio of jewel thieves find Wilbur fascinating as well, since their leader hid the gems from his latest heist in the dummy's stomach.

⁣Ricky tries to rescue a fawn from a snare and incurs the trappers' wrath. The men are trying to provide meat for a railroad construction crew but are wiping out the native game in the process. Ricky, Sandy and an Eastern conservationist try to convince the railroad construction boss to find a new source of meat for his men.

⁣Annie's mentor, a proud but aging marshal, is provoked into a hopeless shootout with a young gunman.

⁣ When his grandson actually comes to visit him, an old prospector who has been writing to the boy with tall tales of his imaginary exploits, actually tries to live up to his tales by capturing an outlaw gang.

⁣Annie goes after a female outlaw to clear her own reputation when the outlaw poses as the famous marksman in her rampage through the territory.

⁣Cisco and Pancho come across the disrobed body of a railway inspector sent to a town to investigate shady real estate dealings in the name of the railway.

⁣Cisco and Pancho are forced to switch clothes with two escaped convicts, and are later arrested when they are mistaken for the fleeing criminals.

⁣Cisco and Pancho get involved when a gang of jewel thieves, who've mailed themselves part of their haul, are prevented from getting their package by a by-the-book postal clerk, and they then decide to take it by force.
