⁣When John Mason's father is killed, John is wounded. Attracted to his nurse Alice, a conflict arises between him and his friend Ben who plans to marry Alice.

⁣ Buck Roberts is leading a wagon train of railroad supplies and Jim Corkle and his henchman Loder are out to stop them by using white men dressed as Indians for the attacks.

⁣Wrongly accused as a horse thief, a cowboy is saved from a lynch mob by an outlaw gang that use their guns to bring justice to a territory betrayed by corrupt lawmen.

⁣ An agent sent to investigate the thefts of gold bullion shipments discovers that the mine owner is behind it. He also finds out that the owner has his gang capture travelers in the desert to use as slave labor in the mine.

⁣Ken Maynard's palomino stallion, Tarzan, is spotlighted in this action-packed western. Horse thieves are running rampant, decimating rancher's herds. When Tarzan frees one of the herds held by the rustlers, the leader of the gang has the mighty horse declared an outlaw and demands he be shot.

⁣When the Texas rangers are disbanded, outlaws move in. Ex-Ranger Roy joins the Cavalry but deserts when the Calvalry is unable to stop the outlaws and his brother is killed. Ex-Senator Harvey has organized the State Patrol and Roy soon learns it's a protection racket with those not joining burned out or murdered. .

⁣ Harris and Rigby own a circus. Rigby is a counterfeiter and frames his partner. The Mesquiteers learn Rigby is the culprit and get a confession from one of his men only to lose the case when the man is murdered in jail. The Mesquiteers try again and send Lullaby to try and win some of the fake bills in a card game.

⁣ Rancher helps a friend claim a spread he's inherited, only to get involved in his murder.

⁣Trouble in Colorado is tying up Union troops needed back east during the Civil War and Lieut. Burke is sent to investigate. Macklin and his gang are causing the problems and Capt. Mason joins them. When Burke catches up with them he also finds Mason, his brother.

⁣When Blackton outbids Bill Carson. Bill suspects he will have to rustle cattle to fulfill the contract. So Bill arrives posing as an Mexican. When he rustles the cattle from the rustlers, it gets him into the gang. Hoping to bring them all to justice, he is in trouble when his true identity is revealed.

⁣ Kildare kills Curt Fremont's brother Jim. When Curt arrives he poses as a coward in public but sneaks out unseen to become the daring El Capitan as he looks for the killer.

⁣ A ranch owner gives the Cheyenne Kid $1000 and sends him off to buy cattle. At the same time he fires a ranch hand and that hand rides ahead and alerts Jeff Baker about the $1000. Bakers' henchman are too late to get the Kid but they kill the rancher paid by the Kid. The Sheriff then arrests the Kid claiming he murdered the rancher to get the money back and that Baker said he then lost it at his gambling table.

⁣An Army captain declares martial law on account of corrupt deputies.

⁣ Two brothers are separated when young. One becomes the pony express rider Clint Knox and the other the outlaw Ace Carter. Their next meeting finds Ace way-laying Clint as he delivers the mail.

⁣Billy the Kid (Buster Crabbe) and Fuzzy Jones (Al St. John) are on their way out of Arizona being chased by some riders who hope to cash in on the reward money for their capture.
