⁣ Annie and Lofty try to close the local gambling hall without success. It's owner, the son of a legendary lawman, is convinced that making money is more important than being respected. The young man changes his mind when outlaws pistol whip his father. He agrees to take them across the border to safety, but instead leads them on a wild goose chase.

⁣In the midst of some friendly horseplay on their “Flying R” ranch, the Range Busters, Crash Corrigan, Dusty King and Alibi Terhune, are sobered by the arrival of a buckboard bearing their old friend Larry Meadows and his niece Dorrie Willard. Meadows seeks their aid against a gang of outlaws terrorizing his town. Ernie Willard, Dorrie’s brother, has been taken in by Tex Laughlin who is using the Willard ranch as an undercover for his real occupation as a member of a gang of outlaws led by Tim Douglas, a supposed friend of the Willards.

⁣ Ann Fenwick is a witness to a bank robbery in the U.S. and the bandits, led by Trigger (Warner Richmond) and Leon (Ted Adams) capture her and when she disappears, a warrant is issued for her arrest as a material witness. The bank robbers flee across the border into Canda where they steal a trailer in which they lock Ann and the loot. The hitch breaks and the trailer plunges into a lake. Sergeant Renfrew (James Newill) and Constable Kelly (Dave O'Brien), of the Canadian Mounties,rescue Ann and she tells them she is a hitch-hiking tourist and gives a false name. Renfrew sends Kelly for aid, Ann escapes and Kelly returns with the news that she is wanted. The leader of the gang, Cardigan (Milburn Stone), sends the gang back for Ann and the loot, which Ann has hidden in a trappers cabin, just before Trigger recaptures her. Renfrew goes to her rescue, but is also captured. But reliable Constable Kelly is somewhere in the woods.

⁣After Burton kills Dad Mason and makes it look like a suicide, Ace Cooper arrives to investigate. He poses as a coward during the day but at night he becomes the daring Dude Bandit.

⁣A young frontier scout helps guide a freight wagon train across the country, fighting off Indians and evil traders, while his two crusty companions try and save him from falling in love.

⁣Jim discovers that a former slave he had freed has been captured and enslaved again, and is about to be sold at a slave auction.

⁣A young man returns to Diablo to practice medicine after his father put him through medical school.

⁣Annie goes after a female outlaw to clear her own reputation when the outlaw poses as the famous marksman in her rampage through the territory.

⁣The Sheriff in Bonanza orders his assistant to bring the murderer Jim Hardy to the state prison, where Hardy is going to be hanged. On the way the assistant is killed by a shot from a man, who releases Hardy and brings him to his boss, Jim Holbrook. Holbrook plans to kill his employer, the ranch owner Henry P. Murdock, and replace him with Hardy, who resembles Murdock. Through this switch, Holbrook will get control over the ranch himself.

⁣A wounded soldier gives Dusty a pouch, tells him to protect it with his life and deliver it to Ford Hood. A bad guy then shows up and demands the pouch, but it's empty.

⁣The Newtons babysit Betsy, a spoiled young girl whose mother is marrying Jim's friend Bill. Betsy misses her dad, who was killed in the Korean War. Betsy's grief, anger, and hatred of Bill make her stay with the Newtons a trying time.

⁣An outcast Confederate soldier redeems himself by defending a woman against bandits willing to kill for her goldmine claim.
