When the cat-breeding neighbor Goof sees what's going on, he calls the police, who stop the fight and, following the sound of Satan the cat, find the body of the real doctor hidden behind a brick wall.

⁣ Bob Brand is looking for a lost gold mine. Storm Cloud makes friends with Bob's son Bobby and to repay Bob for the help he gave the Indians, he gives a map locating the mine to the boy. But Sam Harrison is also after the mine and when he learns that Bob has the map he sets out to get it.

⁣ An agent sent to investigate the thefts of gold bullion shipments discovers that the mine owner is behind it. He also finds out that the owner has his gang capture travelers in the desert to use as slave labor in the mine.

⁣Stoney and the son of the local Indian chief are attacked while escorting a gold shipment meant for the tribe. The nuggets are stolen, the Indian killed and Stoney is arrested for the murder and theft. With his partner in jail, Pat endeavors to learn who is behind the robbery and the previous thefts of tools and supplies meant for the Indians before the tribe returns to the warpath to avenge the death of their kinsman.

He knows the blame will be placed on the cattle-vs-sheep range war. Tom Evans, posing as a wanted outlaw, Ed 'Trigger" Jones, works his way into Rand's confidence. The latter sends "Trigger" to make trouble for Midge Reed, the murdered man's daughter. Tom, as "Trigger" devises a plan to trap Rand but it backfires and he soon finds himself between two fires.

⁣A soldier survives a bombing in which his three fellow soldiers were killed. When he recovers he discovers he has amnesia, and since his companions' bodies were burned beyond recognition, the army doesn't know which one of the four he is. He goes AWOL and searches out the families of the three dead soldiers, hoping to find out his own identity.

⁣Lt. Briggs breaks the treaty by chasing an Indian beyond the recognized border. Led into an ambush he escapes but his militiamen are captured. Hawkeye and Chingachgook are assigned to escort him to his court-martial and probable hanging.
